Bakotech sp. z o.o. expands portfolio with BotGuard solutions - this marks the third contract this quarter

date24.04.2024

Bakotech Sp. z o.o., a Krakow-based cybersecurity solutions distributor, has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with BotGuard, a producer of advanced systems for protecting against botnet attacks and malicious software. This is already the third agreement concluded by the Bakotech Group recently, confirming the company's dynamic development and the implementation of its strategy aimed at achieving a leadership position in IT distribution in Central and Eastern Europe.

BotGuard is an Estonian company specializing in creating software that secures websites and web applications against automated attacks such as scraping, scalping, ad fraud, DoS/DDoS, spam, and fake traffic generated by bots. Thanks to BotGuard technology, which filters network traffic and analyzes suspicious queries, websites can more easily distinguish real users from malicious bots. BotGuard can be easily integrated with any website, offering protection against content copying, spam, attempts to steal user data, and other undesirable bot activities.

Under the new agreement, Bakotech will be responsible for the distribution and support of BotGuard products in Poland, as well as in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “This partnership is another step in our strategy to develop our digital security offerings. Protection against bots is currently one of the key challenges in the IT industry, and with BotGuard products, our offering becomes even more comprehensive", says Piotr Kawa, Director of Business Development at Bakotech.

The contract with BotGuard is part of a larger strategic plan aimed at achieving a leadership position in IT solutions distribution in Central and Eastern Europe. In recent weeks, the Bakotech Group has announced new contracts with Picus Security, which enables organizations to optimize their readiness for threats through real-time attack simulation, and Kaseya – a manufacturer responsible for an IT platform that combines various solutions for network and system monitoring, data verification, phishing protection, and data recovery.

“Our latest agreements are a response to market needs, which are increasingly focusing on innovative technologies. We are pleased to be co-creating the future of cybersecurity”, adds Krzysztof Hałgas, Managing Director at Bakotech Group.
