Bakotech's international expansion has entered another level

In August 2022 the contract of Bakotech, a Krakow-based distributor, with WithSecure – a well-known Finnish vendor of solutions to protect end devices, servers and mobile devices – was extended. As of August 1, Bakotech is responsible for the exclusive distribution of the vendor's solutions in Slovakia.

When Bakotech started cooperation with WithSecure (formerly: F-Secure Corporation) in early 2019, it was certain that this would be a milestone in the development of the Krakow-based VAD distributor. And so it did. WithSecure's Finnish company's offerings consist of extremely popular, widely used endpoint protection (EPP) and detection and response systems (EDR), based on a multi-layered approach, as well as mobile device security solutions and vulnerability management.

WithSecure products have become the most popular in the distributor's portfolio at an express pace, and dynamic cooperation, clear rules of partnership and numerous joint marketing activities result in the steady growth of WithSecure on the Polish market. Visible and satisfactory results of cooperation resulted in the extension of the contract also to the foreign market – since August 1 Bakotech is responsible for exclusive distribution in Slovakia.

This is not the distributor's first foreign contract. Cooperation and marketing activities for a whole range of vendors are carried out in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the Adriatic countries, for which a team located in Krakow is responsible.

According to the signed agreement, Bakotech will be responsible for the delivery of all solutions from the Finnish vendor in the Slovak market. There are plans for further activities aimed at even stronger development of the Bakotech/WithSecure duo in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
