Next strong players in Bakotech's solutions portfolio: Flowmon & Kemp

The third quarter of 2022 proved to be successful for Bakotech - the distributor's contract with vendor Progress Software expanded to include the globally recognized Flowmon and Kemp brands. Thus, Bakotech's portfolio of solutions for network monitoring, security incident detection and response, and loadbalancing has been significantly strengthened. Significantly, the distributor will cover Flowmon distribution not only in Poland, but also in Bulgaria, and Kemp - additionally in the Czech Republic.

Progress Software is an American vendor of solutions for developing, implementing and managing business applications. Bakotech has been cooperating with the vendor for 2 years now, rapidly developing sales of WhatsUp Gold and MOVEit solutions, and since the current quarter, also LoadMaster and Flowmon.

Bakotech has been strongly developing the diversity of its products for several years now, thanks to which the distributor's partner network is also constantly growing. The strengthened portfolio of network monitoring solutions will allow the distributor's current partners not only to meet more of their customers' needs, but also to consolidate their position in the market by providing high-end products.

Progress Flowmon is a Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) and Network Detecion & Response (NDR) class solution that provides visibility into network processes, application protection and efficient administration of the entire infrastructure. The solution enables DevOps engineers and system administrators to ensure uninterrupted application availability and performance at optimal levels.

Progress LoadMaster is a loadbalancer designed to distribute load between servers for stable operation of business-critical applications. The solution can distribute traffic both automatically between available resources and according to user settings.

In addition to global and local loadbalancers, an important component of LoadMaster is the Web Application Firewall module. The solution helps protect custom and commercial applications from common security vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS).
